To mark its 50th anniversary, STEFANO RICCI hosted a spectacular fashion show at the Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor \u2014 the first international runway show ever held in Egypt. The result was a triumph of pure Italian elegance and style, witnessed by 400 international guests, featuring 45 models, and opened and closed by the iconic Maestro Andrea Bocelli.<\/p>\n
A tribute to the grandeur of Ancient Egypt and the contemporary luxury lifestyle that defines the Stefano Ricci brand. The collection included elegant eveningwear, jacquard fabrics, hieroglyphic motifs, and rich gold and blue tones fit for a pharaoh \u2014 all inspired by the desert’s timeless mystique and safari allure. A total of ninety designs, each embodying rare sophistication.<\/p>\n
The show opened with Andrea Bocelli performing \u201cCeleste Aida\u201d by Verdi, followed by a heartfelt duet \u201cFall on Me\u201d with his son, Matteo Bocelli. Acclaimed soprano Susanna Rigacci descended the temple\u2019s monumental staircase while performing an aria by Ennio Morricone, adding an ethereal dimension to the setting.<\/p>\n
For the grand finale, Mr. Stefano Ricci and his son, Creative Director Filippo Ricci, descended the staircase of the Temple of Hatshepsut to the powerful sound of Bocelli\u2019s \u201cNessun Dorma.\u201d The temple was illuminated in a breathtaking display of lights \u2014 creating a truly majestic and unforgettable moment in the history of fashion, entirely in the STEFANO RICCI spirit.<\/p>\n
This special collection was designed to celebrate five decades of emotion and style.
